Artist Bio

​Ian started with nature photography while hiking, but his passion truly ignited when he discovered toy photography. Bringing minifigures and action figures to life, using real environments and practical effects like fireworks and sparklers, creating images that feel alive.


Beyond his own work, Ian finds joy in teaching photography. For the past year and a half, he’s been an instructor at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre and The Joel Fund, helping others discover the magic of photography. Watching his students develop their skills and bring their
own visions to life is one of the most rewarding parts of his journey.


Whether he’s photographing a sleek car, a professional headshot, or an explosive toy battle scene, Ian is always looking for new ways to tell a story through his images.
